How We Treat Our Crew

The Values That Come Before the Paint

People over profits.

It is the first value on our wall for a reason. Decisions here start with the crew, not the margin.

Fair hours, every week.

You will work a full week, not an impossible one. Nobody gets burned out to hit a deadline.

An open door, always.

Bring anything to anyone, any time. We are approachable, we listen, and harassment of any kind has no place here.

No compromise on quality.

You will never be asked to rush past your own standards. We quote jobs properly so you can paint them properly.

Family-Owned & Operated

Work for People, Not a Corporation

Master Painting & Renovations is owned and run by Dave and Amy Waldner. That means the people setting your schedule, quoting your jobs, and answering your questions are the same people whose name is on the van.

It shows in how the company runs: over 9,800 projects completed across the Fraser Valley, a BBB A+ rating, and crews that clients ask for by name. When the company promises a client quality, it staffs and schedules the job so you can actually deliver it.

Your mental health matters here. Your evenings matter here. If that sounds ordinary, good. Around here, it is.

Who We're Looking For

The Master Painter Role

Three or more years on the brush.

Professional painting experience, with the habits and judgment that come with it.

Prep done properly.

Drop sheets, masking, caulking, filling, sanding, priming. You know the finish is only as good as the prep.

Clean freehand lines.

Cutting in without tape, straight and sharp, every time.

Rolling that covers.

Full, even coverage with no misses and no flashing.

Steady at height.

Comfortable working from ladders up to 40 feet.

Your own wheels.

Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s licence.

Self-directed, team-minded.

You can run your own day and still pull for the crew.

Work you can point to.

Photos of painting you are proud of are always an asset.
