The City of Abbotsford does not require a building permit for painting, flooring, or installing cabinetry, so a refresh that keeps the existing layout usually needs nothing. Once you move plumbing, add circuits, or change structure, a permit is required, and the City is clear that securing one before work starts is the property owner’s responsibility. We manage that application as part of the project.
A bathroom is usually a few weeks, a kitchen longer, and a whole home longer still, depending on scope and material lead times. You get a written schedule with your quote, before any work begins, so the timeline is agreed rather than guessed.
